Gary Sproul

Stoughton- Gary A. Sproul, age 69, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2015 at Badger Prairie Health Care Center in Verona. He was born in Stoughton on August 31, 1945. Gary was confirmed at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. He graduated from Stoughton High School in 1963. Gary served his country in the U.S. Army and was a driver in the motor pool. Favorite pastimes of Gary's were playing the guitar, singing, garage sales, and collecting. Survivors include his mother, Ruthann Stach of Stoughton; two daughters, Denise and Lauren; three grandchildren; 11 siblings, Steve, Dean, Diane, David, Kathy, Jeff, Sally, Connie, Jayne, Paul, and Kevin; nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Sproul. A graveside service was held Monday, May 4, 2015, with Rev. Jerry Tews officiating.
