Gayle Spatola

Mauston - Gayle Delores Rodefer Spatola, age 90, was taken home to be with the Lord and her beloveded George on Friday, December 16, 2011, at Fairview Nursing Home in Mauston. She was born on July 28, 1921, the daughter of Ray and Leora Reynolds. Gayle married George Rodefer on June 14, 1941 and had a wonderful 43 year marrage, before Georged passed away in 1984. She worked as an administrative assistant for the UW purchasing department. She later met a compaion named Joseph Spatola Jr and they were wed in 1991, Joseph passed away in 2000.

Gayle was a life long member of Asbury United Methodist Church where she was part of the womens group and enjoyed bible study.

She is survived by her daughter, Jane (Robert) Hull of New Lisbon, granddaughters, Gayle Pierce and Cheryl Hull, great-grandchildren James and Jenileigh Pierce.

Gayle was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and a brother.
