Geraldine L. Zantow

Geraldine L. Zantow, age 62, passed away peacefully, at her home in Madison, WI on April 24th, 2011.

She was born on December 9th, 1948, in Madison, the daughter of Michael and Josephine E. (Brewer) Daly. She married Dennis Zantow and they were married for 25 years. She was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother.

In passing, Geraldine leaves behind her children, Bradley (Ann) Brunson and Brandon (Nicole) Brunson, of Milwaukee, WI; grandchildren, Julia, Lily, Jacob, Brandon and Nicholas Brunson; her sisters, Marilyn (Walter) Zimmerman, and Kathleen Sharp; her brothers, David (Carol) Daly, Jerome ""J.C."" (Sharon) Burkeland, Loren (Teresa) Burkeland, and Christopher Burkeland; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by many wonderful and caring friends who did so much to help her during her recent illness. Geraldine was also preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; and her sisters Judy (Norman) Schehr, and Barbara (Ed) Trier.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm on Sunday, May 1st, 2011, with the visitation to start at 11:00am, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison, WI. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, please donate to the American Cancer Society in memory of Geri.
