Stoughton- Gilbert J. Gassen, age 85, died on Wednesday, May 4, 2011. He was born in Richland Center on October 6, 1925, the third of 11 children to Richard and Clara (Faber) Gassen. Gil married Arlene Baldwin on September 26, 1970. He is survived by his wife; one child; granddaughter; great granddaughter; three step children; and eight step grandchildren. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
