Gladys Anderson

Gladys A. Anderson, age 80, passed away peacefully at home with her family around her on December 12, 2011.
Gladys was born in Middleton December 7, 1931 to Edward and Marie (Fisher) Denner. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother to her family and a wonderful friend to many people.
She loved making many crafts and later making cookies for her friends at Rosewood Villas. Gladys was a loving and caring daughter and wife while taking care of her mother, father and husband during their illnesses.
She married Homer N. Anderson September 15, 1951 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Middleton. He preceded her in death on January 6, 2007. She raised five children Jean Sigafus, Friendship: Vickie (Steven) Danz, Mazomanie; John (Jean) Anderson, Middleton; Eunice Acker (Fiance, Donnin Custer) Sioux City, IA; Kenna Danz, Black Earth.
Gladys is further survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, two sisters Irene and Orma and two very special friends Alice and Audrey. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother John.
The family would like to thank her Agrace Hospice nurse, Joanne and Social Worker Rebecca for their kindness and guidance with Mom's care. Also to Dr. Barbara Stowe-Carpenter and Pastor Dave.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 11:00 am at West Middelton Lutheran Church, 3763 Pioneer Rd., Verona with Rev David Brandfass officiating. A visitation will take place from 10:00 am until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers donation in Gladys's honor may be made to Agrace Hospice, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway.
