MADISON- Gladys Ellen Dott (Rindfleisch), 81, went to be with the Lord Jesus on September 16, 2008, due to complications from cancer. Gladys was born on March 18, 1927, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI and was baptized and confirmed at a Lutheran church in Vesper, WI. Gladys graduated from Spencer High School in Spencer, WI, and received an education degree from UW-Stevens Point in 1949. After graduation she taught third grade at Washington Elementary in Beaver Dam, WI, the city where she met her husband, Robert W. Dott. They were married in Mineral Point, WI on December 31, 1950. They lived in Beaver Dam until December 1, 2005, when they moved to Attic Angel Prairie Point in Madison, WI. She is survived by her husband, Robert of Madison; brother, Dale (Shirley) Rindfleisch of Mayville, WI; two children, Peggy (John) Zimdars of Madison and Rickey (Debra) Dott of White Bear Lake, MN; grandchildren: Andrew Zimdars of Milwaukee, Matthew Zimdars of Madison, and Robert and Nathan Dott of White Bear Lake, MN; as well as several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Gladys' life will be held at 3:30 PM on Sunday, October 5, 2008, at the ATTIC ANGEL COMMUNITY ROOM, 8301 Old Sauk Road, Middleton. Pastor Thomas H. Trapp of Wisconsin Lutheran Chapel will be presiding. Memorials may be made to the Wisconsin Lutheran Chapel & Student Center, 220 W. Gilman Street, Madison, WI 53703
