MADISON/STOUGHTON/MIKANA, WISCONSIN  -  Gloria J. Bolles, age 63, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2008, at Mayo Clinic/Saint Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota.  Gloria was born on October 4, 1944 in Hollywood, California, daughter of the late Lloyd and Alice Tholo, was confirmed at Central Lutheran Church in Stoughton, graduated from Stoughton High School, and attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison.  Gloria married John F. Bolles on July 1, 1967. While living in Madison, Gloria and her family were active members of Bethel Lutheran church.  Gloria and John retired to Red Cedar Lake, Mikana, Wisconsin in 1988.  Gloria brought beauty into this world thru her loving personality, her flower gardens, and water color painting.  She is survived by her husband John of Mikana, two daughters, Elizabeth M. Vitale, Rosemount, Minnesota,  Rebecca A. Walker, Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, a sister Mary C. Wood of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, a brother Robert N. Tholo of Stoughton, Wisconsin, four grandchildren, Anna R. Vitale, Julia A. Vitale, Thomas L. Walker, and Gavin M. Walker.  A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 8th, 2008 at the Christ Lutheran Church, 700 County Road B, Stoughton, Wisconsin at 11:00 am.  Luncheon to follow service.  In Lieu of flowers, memorials in Gloria's name to Mayo Clinic Department of Development, 200 First Street SW, Rochester, Minnesota  55905 will fund specific lung research, would be appreciated by her family.
