Gloria Martin

Sun Prairie - Gloria Rae Martin, age 84, passed away on December 2, 2013 while at home surrounded by family.
Gloria was born on March 14, 1929 in Walworth County, WI, the daughter of Ollie and Mary (Fox) Hill. Gloria was married to William Martin on March 22, 1947 and celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary last March.
Gloria was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie and a past charter member at Faith Lutheran Church in Walworth. Gloria enjoyed tending to her flowers and especially loved spending time with her husband and family.
She is survived by her husband, William; sons Steven (Maurcia) Martin of Thousand Oaks, CA, Michael (Lynn) Martin of Baraboo and Matthew (Judy) Martin of De Forest; 12 grandchildren, Elisabeth (Matt) Hendrickson, Annie Enlow, Virginia Martin, Stephanie Martin, Brian (Sandi) Martin, Adam (Amy) Martin, Eric (Cindy) Martin, Sarah (Matt) Fieck, Brooke Martin, Lindsey (Todd) DuBenske, Laura Martin and Hillary Martin; 13 great grandchildren; a brother, Tom Hill of Fontana, WI; two sisters, Ardis (Melvin) Walstra of Stevens Point and Mary Castle of Whitewater. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Janis.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Paul Schmidt, The Lighthouse staff and Agrace Hospice. A private service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Agrace Hospice.
