Gordon Hale

McFarland- J. Gordon Hale, age 87, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. He was born on February 16, 1928 in Cazenovia to Earl and Una Hale. Gordon was a WWII veteran, serving his country in the U.S. Air Force. He married Joan Owens on November 25, 1947. Gordon was a graduate of Stout University. He taught at Washington and Lincoln High Schools in Sioux Falls, SD before moving to Madison where he taught electronics at MATC until his retirement in 1988. Gordon is survived by his wife of 67 years, Joan; three children, Margaret "Peg" Dobrinska of State College, PA, Richard of Alvin, TX, and Gary (Jana) of Sheboygan Falls; three grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant son, David. At Gordon's request, there will be no funeral services. Please share your memories.
