Gordon Soloway

MADISON- Gordon Soloway, 67, passed away on August 14th, 2019 while walking through a nearby park. He is survived by his sister Leslie Haggerty of the Albany, NY area and his brother Rick in Baltimore, MD.

Gordy was born in Passaic, NJ but grew up in the Rochester, NY area. He attended George Washington and Cornell Universities, and received his Masters of Sociology at the University of Minnesota.

He spent his working years serving the State of Wisconsin, most recently in the Medicaid group. Gordy loved living in Madison and enjoyed outdoor activities and the local music scene. He was passionate about reading, music, and politics. In the end, he is remembered by those who knew him as a kind, sensitive soul who lived life on his own terms.
