Gregory Cooley

Poynette - Gregory A. Cooley, age 57, passed away on November 29, 2011 at his home in Poynette. He was born on August 31, 1954 in Madison, the son of Gordon and Joan (Feisst) Cooley.

Greg was a loving father to his two children and a dedicated employee of 35 years at Jaeckle Distributors.

To some friends known as "Midnight Maniac" - Greg was an avid hunter, bowler and president of Rio Conservation Club. He also enjoyed watching the Packers, Badgers and Nascar.

He is survived by his wife, Stormy Cooley; a son, Troy (Erin Sather) Cooley; a daughter, Carrie (Brady Quam) Cooley; mother, Joan Krueger; brothers, Stephen (Darlene) Cooley and Gordon Cooley Jr.; sisters, Theresa (Dana) Lonetree, Tina Cooley-Lamb and Katie (Ryan) Duerst; sister and brother-in-laws, Chicki (Mark) Olson and Skeeter (Rich) Storkson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Saturday, December 3, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
