Gregory Kons Wilkinson 7/24/70 - 3/4/12
Greg fought and lost his final battle of complications of pneumonia with his family by his side.
He worked at Best Buy, East since he was 18. Always a hard worker, always a pleasure to be with. Greg was unable to speak but his communication was very successful and well respected. He taught us all how to face our struggles with determination. He is survived by his mother, Connie (Bob) Hewitt of Dane; father, Richard Wilkinson of Middleton; brothers, Ben Boe, Randy Wilkinson, and Lance (Mindi) Wilkinson; best friend and caregiver, Lem Guiao, all of Madison; his biological father, Ron Kons of Kaukauna; brother, Scott Kons of Oshkosh; and sister, Jackie Gradl of Kimberly.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat., March 24th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Community Support Network, 1137 N. Sherman Ave. Madison, WI 53704, located in the Northgate Shopping Center.
"God saw that he was getting tired and a cure was not to be; so he put his arms around him and whispered "come with me" with tearful eyes we watched him suffer and fade away: although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, struggles no more to be. God broke our hearts to prove to us. He only takes the best.
