Harold A. McAllister

Harold Antonio McAllister, age 83, of Fitchburg passed away on Friday January 10, 2025 at Sebring Assisted Care Residence in Madison. He was born on November 1, 1941, in San Juan Puerto Rico, the son of Claudio McAllister and Tomasa Charneco. He married Pamela K. Walsworth on March 21, 1970, in Muskegon, MI.

 He received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University and a PhD from Iowa State University where he studied veterinary pathology.  He worked for State of Wisconsin as a veterinary Pathologist until retirement.

Harold enjoyed reading a wide range of nonfiction topics and was a skilled writer. Harold also enjoyed expressing his impressions of what he had read.

Harold is survived by his wife, Pamela. Harold was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and an uncle.
