Heather Christine Sarabia, age 36, passed away on July 12, 2024 at home. She was born on March 1, 1988 in Boston, MA, the daughter of Richard J. Sarabia and Carol J. Sarabia.
Heather Graduated from West High School. She was an artist and poet at Artworking. Founder and owner of Papertreat. Heather was also a published poet.
To quote Heather, “ I didn’t choose to become an artist, I am one. My art is a point of grounding for me. Art gives my lonely heart purpose to move forward.”

Her writing approach is a mix of hopeful optimism with terse gritty realism, while her painting is an abstract expressionist style created through sweeping motions and brush strokes.
She put all of herself into her work, and treasured the respect she cultivated. Aside from the serious endeavors of art and poetry, Heather loved; Little Free Libraries, looking at books while allowing her thoughts to wander, gaining independence in her own little house with her friend and roommate Janie, Friendships, and walking adventures in her neighborhood.

“Very sure things flow through the mind like water flows through the strong current of a story ocean.
I lose a lot in the spray of the wave and need to wait until it crashes before I can get control of the flow.
Be aware of where everyone flows. Then you can meet the in calmer waters.”
