Helen Anderson

Helen R. Anderson, age 96 passed away on Monday, September 21, 2009. She was born on April 27, 1913 the daughter of Frank and Birdie (Banner) Ogle. She was born in Oklahoma and moved to St. Louis as a child. She was educated in the St. Louis public school system and Harris Teachers College. In 1948, Helen married Paul Anderson; he preceded her in death in 1994. She and Paul had three sons. At the time of her retirement, she was Director of Purchasing at St. Catherine's Hospital in Kenosha.

Helen is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Clark and Belinda Anderson; 4 grandchildren: Corina, Kaziah, Jesse, and Leavon; and 5 great-grandchildren, including Aurorah. She is further survived by nieces, Helen Boatright and Jane Reise; and great- nieces and nephew, Megan Boatright, Karen Reise, and Paul Reise.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 sons, Scott and Grant.

With her family abiding by her wishes, there will be no formal service. Private inurnment will be held at a later date.
