Madison--Helen G (O'Neill) Hart passed away on December 29, 2015 at St. Mary's Care Center, Madison. She was born in Baraboo Wisconsin, on January 2, 1922, the daughter of James E. O'Neill and Helen (Goggin) O'Neill. She married Warren C. Hart on September 18, 1948 in Baraboo, WI.
Helen was a graduate of Whitewater State University and was a business teacher in Sauk City for 5 years, 1943-1948. She was a homeé�é�é�é�maker while her children were young. She taught for several years at Reedsburg High School and MATC. Later, she worked for Gimbels Hilldale for many years.
She is survived by her daughter Bette Hart, St. Paul MN; her son John (Jane) Hart, Sauk City; grandchildren, Sarah (Chris) Olson; Allison Hart Bell (Steve Bell), and Laura Hart; 5 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother James E. (Helen) O'Neill Jr., Pardeeville WI., and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son Charles E. Hart.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 10am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 401 S. Owen Dr, Madison with Msgr. Kenneth J. Fiedler presiding. Following the Mass, entombment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
