Helen Helms

Helen M. Helms, age 92, of DeForest, WI passed away on June 29, 2021 at Sienna Crest Assisted Living. She was born on May 17, 1929 in Jacksonville, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Frona Frogge Buster. She married Ralph Helms on October 18, 1972 in Pekin, IL.

Helen had a very strong faith in God and loved to sing hymns. She was known for her kind nature and loved visiting with family and friends. She also had a passion for going on shopping trips whenever possible.

Survivors include son, Mark (Peggy) Cunningham; granddaughters, Samantha and Molly Cunningham; and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, James Oford Buster, Joseph Paul buster, Arlie Raymond Buster, and Orville Lee Buster; and her husband, Ralph Helms.

Burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin, IL. Graveside service will be held at a date to be determined.
