Helen J. Sell

Helen J. Sell, age 88, died Friday, December 17, 2010 in Sun Prairie.  She was born June 23, 1922, in Alto, WI, the daughter of Wesley and Ethel (Bruins) Loomans. Helen was a longtime resident of Sun Prairie and a member of Sun Prairie United Methodist Church.  She had been employed by Herremans Supper Club.  Helen was the ""greatest"" pie maker and cook, enjoyed flower gardening, playing bridge and golf.  On May 1, 1943 Helen was united in marriage with Oscar Sell in Waupun, WI.   In addition to her husband Oscar, survivors include a daughter Jeanne Rogers of Auburn, WA; 2 grandchildren: Christopher (Sheri) and Cara Cornell; 2 great grandchildren: Marissa and Breanna Cornell;  2 sisters:  Phyllis VanderBosh of Waupun and Lorraine Lewis of Platteville.  She was preceded in death by her parents.   Services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 21 at SUN PRAIRIE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH 702 North St. where friends may call from 1:00 pm until time of service.  Reverend Susan Bresser will officiate.  Burial will follow in Sun Prairie Memory Gardens.
