Henry Butler Jr.

LECANTO, Fla. - Henry R. "Pete" Butler Jr., age 81, of Lecanto, Fla., died on Sept. 1, 2012, at Citrus Memorial Hospital.
Henry was born on April 9, 1931, in Madison, the son of Henry and Elizabeth Butler. He served as a medic in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Henry retired as an office manager from National Cash Register Company. He was a board member of the Crystal Oaks Community Association for many years. He enjoyed playing golf.
Henry was preceded in death by Janet, his wife of 54 years. Survivors include son, Daniel Butler (Pat) of Wauwatosa; daughter, Carrie Ritchey of Lutz, Fla.; sons, Cameron (Pat) Butler of Madison, Andrew Butler (Tammy) of Cottage Grove, Edward Butler of Madison; sisters, Betty Millar of Bloomfield, Conn., and Marilou Angevine of Madison; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A Gathering for Mr. Butler will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison.
