Herb Trotter

DeForest - Herb Trotter died on Nov 4, 2012 at his home in DeForest following a brief illness. He was born on July 24, 1942 in Douglas, IL. to William and Marquerite Trotter. He grew up in Blanchardville, WI and graduated from Blanchardville High School in l960. He then served in the US Army. Herb married Shirley Johnson in 1966 and they had three children; Pam (Gary) Bekkering, Tracy (Chris) Kryza and Shane Trotter. He had been employed at Hostess, Gardner Bakery, and Indian Mound Middle School, McFarland. Herb worked and played hard. He loved his family, the Packers and his cat Socks. He always looked forward to spending Sunday afternoon with his son, Shane, watching football and having a steak. He is further survived by his ex-wife and friend Shirley; his children and four grandchildren Amber and Alycia Bekkering and Kyle and Caleb Kryza. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home 5785 Hwy Q Waunakee. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
