Herbert A. Hellenbrand

. Herbert “Herb” A. Hellenbrand, age 95, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025. He was born on June 13, 1929 in Waunakee, WI to Anton and Mary (Kalscheur) Hellenbrand. He married Elaine Jones on October 16, 1951. They were married for 56 years, and together, they raised five children.

Herb was a farmer at heart who turned those soil skills into a successful landscaping business which supported his growing family.

Herb is survived by his children: Gregg, Judy (Dave) Veith, Jeff (Julie), and Dan (Tammy); grandchildren: Tom Veith, April (Eric) Beck, Tony, Megan, and Ashley Hellenbrand; and great-granddaughters: Vanessa, Samantha, and Whitney Veith; and Payton Beck; siblings: Sharon Ziegler, Marv Hellenbrand; and sister-in-law: Sherry (John) Hill; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Herb was preceded in death by his wife Elaine; son David; brother Art; and sister Mary Lou Haag.

Visitation will be from 9-11:00 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 2420 St. Albert the Great Drive, Sun Prairie, WI 53590 with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11:00 AM. Herb will be brought to his final place at Sacred Heart Cemetery immediately following Mass.
