Howard Wayne Olson Sr.

Windsor -- Howard Wayne Olson Sr., age 66, died on Monday, October 19, 2009, at his home in Windsor, Wisconsin. He was born on July 22, 1943, the son of Harold and Helen (Reinstad) Olson. Dad was a dedicated, self-employed owner-operator of Olson Plumbing for 30 years. He enjoyed going on gambling trips, playing cards, listening and dancing to music, watching NASCAR, being in the outdoors, spending endless days with his loving friend JoAnne and watching his grandchildren grow.

Howard is survived by his sons, John Olson and Harold (Renee) Olson; grandchildren, Justin, Jamie, Cal and Siri; long time loving friend, JoAnne Odegaard; his sisters, Nancy (Arnie) Havey and Mary (Jim) Onsrud; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Howard Olson Jr.

Funeral services will be held at OLSON-HOLZHUTER CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 206 W. Prospect Avenue, Stoughton, on Friday, October 23, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Stoughton. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, October 22, 2009, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday, October 23, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
