Inez Marie Pleus

Inez Pleus, age 94, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2009.   She was born July 17, 1915, in Sinnemahoning, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Tracy and Viola (Sapp) Berfield.   She moved to Rib Lake, WI with her family at the age of nine, and her stories of the move were very exciting.   Inez also lived in Medford, Merrill, Sun Prairie, and Fitchburg.   On July 17, 1940 she married Edwin F. Pleus, who preceded her in death on November 13, 1991.   Inez is survived by her six children: Lynn (Larry) Plautz, Merrill, Jo Ann ( Gary) Luvaas, Oconto Falls, Edwin Pleus, Jr., Eagle River, Tracy (Janet) Pleus, McFarland, William (Susan) Pleus, Madison,  and James (Lynne) Pleus, Madison.   She is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and an older sister.   Inez was preceded in death by her husband, and two grandsons, Patrick Plautz, and Adam Pleus.    A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, October 2, 2009 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Rd, Madison, with visitation from 3:00 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to HospiceCare Inc, 5395 E. Cheryl Pkwy. Madison, WI   53711.   The family would like to thank the staff of Willow Pointe Assisted Living, Verona, and HospiceCare for the care they provided Inez.
