Jacaqlyn (Jackie) Paradowski, 9/27/1960 – 12/22/2024

Jacaqlyn (Jackie) Paradowski, age 64, passed away peacefully 12/22/2024 at her home in Madison, Wisconsin after a two-year fight against cancer. She was born 9/27/1960 in Saint Francis, Wisconsin to the late Conrad Firkus and Shirley Firkus (Hart). Jackie grew-up and lived in the Saint Francis and Milwaukee area prior to moving to Madison in 1988.

Jackie is survived and missed by her husband of 34 years Reginald (Reggie) Paradowski; daughters Crystal Paradowski and Jessica Paradowski; mother Shirley Firkus; mother in-law Donna Paradowski; sister in-law Cindy Hennen and her husband Michael; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Jackie worked for 18 years at the Boston Store fragrance counter in Madison. Most recently Jackie worked at Your Heart’s Content home decor store in Cottage Grove. During her free time Jackie enjoyed visiting the Madison Farmer’s Market with her beloved daughters Crystal and Jessica. Jackie also loved taking numerous “tourist” boat rides with her husband and daughters on Lake Geneva and the Mississippi River. Jackie’s love of boat rides included cherished moments she would spend fishing with her father Conrad on Tuttle Lake in Neshkoro, Wisconsin. An accomplished baker, Jackie often shared her delicious desserts with family and friends.

Please join us in celebrating Jackie’s life by attending her funeral at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 E. Washington Ave. Madison. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
