DeForest -- Jack R. Logan, age 90, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2009, at Oakwood Village East in Madison. He was born on September 20, 1918 in Corsicana, Texas, the son of Milburn Sproul Logan and Josephine Behland Logan. Jack married the former Laura A. Bresch on August 17, 1940. He served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps Reserve during World War II in the Central Pacific from 1944-1946. Jack was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Jack is survived by his three children, John R. (Nancy) Logan of Altoona, WI, Nancy A. (Douglas) Tidwell-Rasmussen of DeForest, WI and Barbara J. Logan of Las Cruces, NM; seven grandchildren, Laura (Dessin) Campbell, Jennifer Logan, Robert (Patricia) Tidwell, Danelle Tidwell, Sean (Rachel) Brennan, Jesse (Jaime) Brennan and William Roy Brennan; 12 great grandchildren; a nephew, Charles Logan; cousins, Charlene Oberlin and Betty (James) Miller. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Laura, his parents and his brother, Charles Logan. A memorial celebration will be held at OAKWOOD VILLAGE EAST, Tree of Life Chapel, 5565 Tancho Drive, Madison, on Sunday, September 20, 2009, at 2:30 p.m. A visitation will be held at Oakwood Village East on Sunday, September 20, 2009, from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service.
