Stoughton- Jacob R. Eith, age 27, died suddenly and without warning on Monday, February 8, 2021. He was born in Madison on January 19, 1994, the son of Michael and Rebecca Eith. Jacob earned Eagle Scout Rank in 2008. He graduated from Stoughton High School in 2012. Jacob had a passion for carpentry and worked as a carpenter for the last five years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, yearly Boundary Waters trips, golfing, and watching Disney movies. Jacob was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He had a big heart and a deep love for his family, especially his nieces and nephew and his dogs. Jacob is survived by his parents, Michael and Becky; brother, Patrick (Alicia); sister, Gabrielle (Malik); nieces, Nevaeh and Ava; nephew, Grayson; maternal grandparents, Robert and Sandy Oxnem; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Sheila Eith; and uncle, Rick Dilley. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 323 N. Van Buren Street, Stoughton, with Fr. Randy Budnar officiating. Burial will take place in Resurrection Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton, and from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass on Tuesday at church. Memorials may be made to Dane County Humane Society, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), or St. Ann Catholic Church/CEW (Christian Experience Weekends).
