Jacqueline Hye

Stoughton- Jacqueline C. Hye, age 76, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Wednesday, January 11, 2012. She was born in Jamestown, ND on August 13, 1935, the daughter of Oscar and Catherine (Keohen) Miller. On October 22, 1955 Jackie married William L. Hye. She operated the Montgomery Ward Store in Stoughton and worked at Skaalen Home for many years. Jackie is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bill; three children, Laurie (Stu) Slinde, Mary Ellan (Jeff) Silbaugh and David Hye; six beloved grandchildren, Dan (Devon) Heckel, Sarah (Dan) Arneson, Robert (Cassidi) Dahlk, Adam Dahlk, Ben Silbaugh and Megan Hye; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Reenie (Neil) Udell. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 16, 2012 at Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton. Friends may greet the family from 1:00 PM until the time of services Monday.
