Madison -James ""Jim"" E. Bormett, age 70,  passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 .  He was born on April 25, 19 39 in Madison, the son of John and Meta (Morgan) Bormett.  Jim was proud to be an American and served two years in the United States Army.  In 1968, he earned a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Jim was united in marriage to Virginia ""Ginny"" Keyzer on June 10, 19 66 in Delavan , WI .  He was an avid stamp collector since the age of 7.  Jim enjoyed learning about history and geography.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  His family meant the world to him.  Jim will be deeply missed by his wife; Ginny, his three daughters; Michele (David) Kane, Melanie Bormett and Susan (James) Barrett, eight grandchildren; Jack, Meghan, Sam, Olivia, Nick, Noah, Kaia and Bridger and two brothers; Dick (Betty) Bormett and Dave ( Sharon ) Bormett.  Jim was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at MIDVALE COMMUNITY LUTHERAN CHURCH , 4329 Tokay Blvd. , on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bruce D. Loewenhagen officiating.  A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Jim to the Easter Seals Camp Wawbeek, 101 Nob Hill Rd., Suite 301, Madison, WI 53713.  ""I used to complain that I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet.""                  Â
