James Connelly

Bradenton, FL/Madison - James "Jim" Connelly, age 56 joined his brothers, Dave, Tim and Joe. He was born on February 12, 1956. Jim was a caring, loving Christian who lived his faith. He is survived by his son, Ryan (Rachel), mother, Norma (Charles McIntyre) Busser, nephews; Joe (Tammy) and Josh, sister-in-law, Kristi (Tim) and aunts and uncles; David (Marilyn) Abramson, Dixie (Marvin) Kriebel, Rose Barfknecht and Ken (Ruth) Abramson. He is also survived by LaVerne Busser's daughter, Andrea (Jim) Herkert and their children; Marita (Eric) Oakland and their sons Miles LaVerne and Andrew Herkert and Jim's soul mate Donna O'Conner. He was predeceased by his brothers, step-father, LaVerne Busser, father, Jim Connelly and grandparents, Ruby and Lloyd Abramson. Jim lost his horrible battle with Burkitts Lymphoma on July 5, 2012. His family is eternally grateful to his soul mate Donna O'Conner, who care for Jim during his long illness. For two days he was in the loving cared of Hospice in Bradenton, Florida. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 1:00 pm at OAKWOOD VILLAGE PRAIRIE RIDGE TREE OF LIFE CHAPEL, 5565 Tancho Dr, Madison with Pastor Marsha Swenson officiating. A visitation will be held at the Tree of Life Chapel on Friday from 12 Noon until the time of services. Private burial will be held at a later date at Forest Hill Cemetery, Madison.
