James Currie

Madison - James Currie, age 76 passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016. God summoned His faithful child to rest. Our hearts yearn for his return, but we humbly accept God's will.

James Currie was born on April 10, 1940 in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Elbert Lee Currie and Rosie Lee Mitchell. James worked for the State of Wisconsin for over 35 years as a boiler operator until his retirement in 2008.

James will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memories: three children; Tameika MacDonald, Brenda Mitchell and Belinda Suby, grandchildren and three sisters; Leora Randle, Earnestine Manns and Mildred Rice.

James was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Joe Currie.

Private funeral services will be held.
