Stoughton - James Allen "Jim" Ehle, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at his home in Stoughton after an extended battle with cancer.
Jim was born May 12, 1951, in Madison, the son of Ellsworth A. and Ruby (Lee) Ehle.
Jim was in the photography business for many years and had records of wedding pictures he had taken for eighty one weddings. He worked for the Olson Auto Exchange and in the construction business. Jim was very proud to have been the caregiver for his dad during his six year illness of Alzheimer's.
Upon his father's death he became the caregiver for his aunt and uncle, Lorraine and Kelly Hawkinson. Many enjoyable times were spent traveling with his aunt during care giving tasks. Jim was an avid fan of the Brewers, Braves, Green Bay Packers, and The UW Badger Football Team.
Jim is survived by his mother and step-father, Ruby and Myron "Mike" Hauge of Stoughton; sister, Kristin (Paul) Theiler of Chickasha, OK; nephew, Nick Skaar of Poynette; aunts, Lorraine Hawkinson of Oregon, and Shirley Richardson of Northglenn, CO; as well as numerous cousins and many friends; and special friends, Parker Ellingson and Sheila Sharlow.
He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Ellsworth and Fern (Young) Ehle; his grandparents, Harry and Anna Ehle, and Myrtle and Parker Lee; and his uncle, Richard Lee.
A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held at a later date.
