James L. Howe

Sun Prairie-James L. Howe, age 84, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010 at Oakwood Village East, Madison. He was born August 2, 1926 in Madison the son of James W. & Alice (Fillner) Howe. Jim graduated from Sun Prairie H.S., in 1945 and he was employed with the Rural Insurance Company for 37 years. He is survived by his brother, Thomas (Marlene) Howe, Sun Prairie; his sisters, Wanda Jorris, Monona and Jacqueline (Hal) Helterhoff, Graylin, MI; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Patrick Jorris. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 2420 St. Albert Dr., Sun Prairie with Msgr. Douglas Duschack and Deacon Joseph Stafford presiding. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be held in Sacred Hearts Cemetery, Sun Prairie. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Motl, Peggy Weber and staff at Oakwood Village East.
