James C. Kitson, age 87, died on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Skaalen Home in Stoughton, following a long illness. Â He was born in Madison on January 9, 1922, a son of Frank and Grace (Clendenin) Kitson. Â He attended Madison schools. He was an Army veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific Theater. Â He was in the military from 1942 until his discharge in 1945. Â For 40 years, he was employed at Webcrafters in Madison. Â He retired as a Lithographic foreman, and director of purchasing in 1990. Â He married the former Jean Bjerke of Stoughton on July 26, 1947. Â He is survived by his wife, Jean; two sons, Mark, of Wisconsin, and Dana, of Florida; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Â Private family services with military rites will be held, with the Rev. James Koza officiating. Â Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Stoughton.
