Spring Green-James L. Schultz, age 57, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Heartland Country Village Nursing Home, Black Earth. He was born on June 11, 1952 in Neillsville the son of Alfred & Norma Schultz. In July of 1958 he came to live on the farm of Avery & Ardyth Rich along with his 2 brothers and sister. James graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1971. He served his country with the U.S. Navy as a mail room store keeper and after his discharge he was employed with the U.S. Postal Service in the mail room in Madison. James is survived by his mother Norma Schultz, Madison; foster mother, Ardyth Rich, Sparta; brothers, John (Helen) Schultz, Spring Green and Jerry Schultz, North Freedom; sister, Jane Johnson, Spring Green; foster brothers, Brent (Tracy) Rich, Sparta and Eric (Laura) Rich, Reedsburg; nieces and nephews, Brian Chambers, East St. Louis, IL, Taira (Tony Fuller) Schultz, Reedsburg, Mark (Jennifer) Schultz, Baraboo, Kelcie Schultz, Sping Green, Valarie Schultz, Jacksonville, FL, Iris Johnson, Spring Green and Kimberly, Stephanie & Kayla Rich all of Sparta; great niece, Kathryn Schultz Fuller & great nephew Clayton Fuller both of Reedsburg; several aunts and uncles and friends. . He was preceded in death by his father Alfred Schultz, his foster father, Avery Rich and nephew Christopher Schultz. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. at the Cress Funeral Home, Sun Prairie. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. A reception will be held after the funeral in the funeral homeeâ¢â¢s community room. Burial will be held in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery, Union Grove
