James Tietz

James Tietz, age 83, of Waunakee (formerly of Eau Claire) peacefully passed away on Thursday February 1, 2024. Jim was born in Eau Claire in 1940, the firstborn son of Ivan and Celina Tietz. Growing up on a farm, Jim developed a soft spot for animals, even having a pet monkey. Jim enjoyed exploring the quiet country roads in Wisconsin, and was a huge fan of all Wisconsin sports.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dave. Jim is survived by his brother Bob (Sue) of Waunakee, sister-in-law Dianne of Tennessee, as well as nieces and nephews.

A graveside ceremony will be held on February 15, 2024 at the Auburn Cemetery in Bloomer, Wisconsin at 1:00p.m.
