James Wyrick

SUN PRAIRIE-James (Jim) G. Wyrick age 86 passed away on Sunday May 27, 2018 In Sun Prairie, WI.

Jim grew up in Elm Grove, WI and graduated from Wauwatosa East High School in 1951. Jim proudly served his country as a Marine in the Korean conflict.

Jim enjoyed taking road trips and Sunday drives, and these would often end up a great camping or canoeing adventure. He took great pride in maintaining and working on his car. He was a Packer fan. He was known for his sense of humor and loved to crack a good joke.

He is preceded in death by his parents Elfredia (Wolfsjager) and Walter Wyrick and his wife Charleyn (Mather) Wyrick.

Jim is survived by his children Carolyn Marine, Joan Gasper (Tom), Timothy (Susie) Wyrick and David (Celeste) Wyrick. Grandchildren Jason, Leah, Dustin, Stephanie, and Douglas. Great-grandchildren Nicholas, Robert, Jillian and Brittan.

Visitation will be from 1-2:00 PM on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie with a Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 PM.
