Jane Seim

Sun Prairie - Jane F. Seim, age 80, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, in the Village of Windsor. She was born in Reading, Pennsylvania on January 20, 1937, the daughter of Clarence and Susan (Swisher) Freiler. Jane was united in marriage to Richard Seim Sr. in Reading, PA. Together they raised six children. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Madison and volunteered with Jesus Cares at the church. Jane enjoyed her family, playing bingo, working on all kinds of crafts, going to movies and watching football.

She is survived by her children, Suzanne (Gary) Bryant, Donna Seim, Richard (Diane) Seim, Jr., Mary Seim, Kathy Seim and Nancy Seim; grandchildren, Angela (Troy), Jason, (Tiffany), Joseph (Corinna), Jennifer (Vernon) and Jeffrey; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Lucas, Isabelle, Ava, Jazzi, Jordan and Robert; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and her faithful canine companions

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Edith Green and brothers, Donald, Walter and Jeff Freiler.

A funeral service will be held at HOLY CROSS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 734 Holy Cross Way, Madison, on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mark F. Bartels officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Madison. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jane's name to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or the Dane County Humane Society.
