August 29, 1944 — November 15, 2009

Janet C. Hack, age 65 of Stoughton, passed away at HospiceCare in Fitchburg on Sunday, November 15, 2009.   She was born in Madison on August 29, 1944, a daughter of William and Myrna (Everson) Kelley.   Myrna passed away when Janet was two years old, and Janet was raised by William and Margaret Kelley.   On September 22, 1962, Janet was united in marriage to Leland Hack in Madison.   Janet was a loving mother who always put her children before herself.   She was a lifelong member and a devoted parishioner at St. Ann Catholic Church in Stoughton, never missing Saturday Mass until her illness prevented her from attending.   She loved reading, bingo and animals.   Janet is survived by 3 children; 2 daughters, Myrna and Tina Hack, and a son, Bill Hack, all of Stoughton; a brother, Ron (Mary Jane) Kelley of Madison; a dear cousin, Bonnie Bull of Jefferson; and other relatives and friends.   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leland; daughter, Angela; and sister, Sue.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. Ann Catholic Church, 323 N. Van Buren St., Stoughton, with Monsignor Gerard Healy officiating.   Burial will follow at Prairie Mound Cemetery, Oregon.   The family will greet friends at church on Friday from 9:30 am until the time of service.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.   Special thanks to HospiceCare, Dr. Prendergast, and Dr. Hill.
