MADISON—Janet Jewell, age 94, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021. She was born on August 11, 1927 in Madison to Peter and Cecelia (Kuehn) Kurth.
Janet is survived by her son David (Cindy) Jewell; daughter Vicki (Jim) Schulenburg; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Warren, son Larry Jewell, 5 brothers, and 3 sisters.
Visitation will be from 10-11:00 am on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Cress Funeral Service, 3325 E. Washington Ave., Madison, WI 53704 with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 am. Burial at Roselawn Memorial Park will immediately follow service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 2450 Atwood Ave., Madison, WI 53704.
