Jason Halverson

Sun Prairie-Jason S. Halverson, age 28, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012 at his home of natural causes. He was born on July 11, 1983 in Ashland, WI the son of Scott & Kathleen(Cvengros) Halverson. Jason was united in marriage to his high school sweet heart and best friend, Rachel Powell on August 19, 2006.

Jason had such a huge heart and a kind and gentle soul. He was an amazing loving husband and a wonderful person. He enjoyed spending his time with family and friends. He truly loved visiting relatives in Upper Michigan and taking trips out to Lake Superior. He also enjoyed anything involving movies or football.

He will be missed by his beloved family which include, his wife, Rachel, and their unborn child, Sun Prairie; his father and mother, Scott & Debbie Halverson, Poynette; his sisters, Crystal (Scott) Engel, Loveland, CO, Ashley Rivette and Sydney Rivette both of Poynette; his nephew, August Engel; his nieces, Emmie Engel and Jordan Kolman; his grandparents, Virginia Halverson, and Donald & Jane Cvengros; his mother and father-in-law, Vicki & Tyrone Powell, Poynette; his brother-in-law, Lucas Powell, Poynette; uncles,aunts, and many special cousins. Jason was preceded in death by his mother and paternal grandfather, Gordon Halverson. A funeral service celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cress Funeral Home, Sun Prairie with Rev. Michael Tess presiding. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
