Stoughton- Jason Bryon Pruitt, age 36, died as a result of a car accident on Friday, June 15, 2012. He was born in Madison on April 6, 1976, the son of Dale and Barbara (Oliver) Pruitt. Jason graduated from LaFollette High School in 1994. He was very active in sports and enjoyed coaching hockey, soccer and little league baseball in the Madison and Stoughton area. Jason became a member of the WI Air National Guard on July 13, 1996 and the WI Army National Guard on October 28, 1998. He was deployed overseas with the Army National Guard from 2006 until 2007. On October 4, 2008, Jason married Maria Gehrke in Las Vegas. He attended Madison College for graphic design and started his own company, REZO Designs Studio and Screen Printing, in 2012. Jason enjoyed working with his hands, painting, woodworking, carpentry and building. He took pride in watching his children play and enjoyed spending time with his family. Jason is survived by his wife, Maria; three children, William, Jadon and Madalyn; his parents, Dale and Barb; three sisters, Nicole Tormey and Linsay and Katie Pruitt; maternal grandmother, Virginia Oliver; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Shirley and Gladys Pruitt; and maternal grandfather, Marvin Oliver. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, June 18, 2012 at Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton, with Pastor Glenn Smith officiating. Full Military honors will follow. Friends may greet the family from 4:00 PM until the time of services Monday at the funeral home.
