Jean Lynn Holmes, age 69, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019, in Madison. She was born on February 10, 1950, in Bruce Crossing, Michigan, daughter to Albert and Bethyl Holmes.

Jean loved being retired from Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital. She spent many years living in the Chicago area, but had spent the last few years living with two of her sisters in Madison. Jean spent her time reading and watching movies. She was a big fan of action films. Jean loved spending time with her family and everyone will remember laughing with her at one time or another.

She is survived by her siblings Jane Holmes, Mary (Jerry) Roehm, Nancy Holmes, Patti Holmes, Keith (Nadine) Holmes; sister-in-law Betty Holmes; nieces and nephews, Ken, Tammy, Tom, Teri, Beth, Albert, Schriree, Jennifer, Tara, Rina, Jacqueline, Matt and Brett; great- nieces and great- nephews; husband Kurt Miles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Albert, sister Barbara and nephew Jeff.

Jean's memorial service will be held at East Madison Baptist Church, 4917 Milwaukee Street, Madison on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Bob Ray officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
