Madison-Jean M Schilling, age 87, passed away on Thursday July 29, 2010 . Jean Carol was born in Madison on Oct. 9, 19 22 , daughter of Elwood and Alvina McIntyre.  She attended and graduated from Wisconsin High School in 1940.  In 1944,  she graduated from the  University of Wisconsin with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology.  During her college years she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority  and continued to support the sorority as a member of the alumni advisory board.    On June 12, 19 46 , Jean was united in marriage to William Schilling.  Together they lived in their  home in Nakoma for 57 years.  Bill preceded Jean in death in 2004.   In 2006, she moved to Attic Angel Place where she had been a volunteer since 1976.   Jean loved gardening, sewing, quilt making, traveling and most of all, her special friends with the University League French Conversation Group.  Jean is survived by her two daughters, Susan McIntyre of Fort Myers, Florida and Mary (Paul)  Klismith of Park City, Utah; two grandchildren, Scott and Dan Klismith, and many nieces and nephews including Tom and Carol Mould, Helen and Jeffrey Mattox, Jeanie (Armando) Velarde , David (Christal) Sakrison, and Juda Sakrison.  She is also survived by many other loving family and friends.  Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Margaret Mattox.  Memorial Services will be held at ATTIC ANGEL PLACE COMMUNITY ROOM , 8301 Old Sauk Road , on Monday August 2, 2010 at 1 PM .  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Jean to HospiceCare, Inc., 5395 E. Cheryl Pkwy , Madison , WI , 53711 .  The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Attic Angels Place and HospiceCare for all of the care and compassion given to Jean and our family.  Â
