Madison -- Jean A. Schnurbusch, age 84, died on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Rest Haven Health Care Center in Verona. She was born in Madison on April 21, 1925 to Carl and Mabel (Peterson) Schwan. Jean graduated from East High School. She loved being a homemaker and was a beautiful seamstress. Jean is survived by her daughter, Judy (Richard) Kvalheim of Madison; her grandsons, Andrew of Madison and Matt (fiance, Cheryl Rivera) of Tustin, California; her sister, Carol Gorsuch of Mt. Horeb; a niece, Sally (Stan) Brookins of Kettering, Ohio; nephews, Al (Joanne) Zwicky of San Leandro, California and Jeff (Monica) Jenkins of Verona; great-nieces, Claire Jenkins of Verona, Jenny (Scott) Kujawa of Centerville, Ohio, and Suzanne (Cody) Franklin of Brooklyn, New York; and great-nephews, Bret (Carrie) Brookins of Burnside, Minnesota and Zach Zwicky of Denton, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vernon; and a sister, Mary Zwicky. Private family services are being held. The family would like to thank Rest Haven for the great kindness and care that they provided.
