Jeffrey Louis Stanton passed away on July 29, 2011 at the age of 49 surrounded by his family holding his hands. He was born on August 23, 1961 to Thomas and Mary (Fisher) Stanton.
Jeff was a veteran of the US Army. He was owner and operator of PDA Madison for many years, an honest and hard working individual.
He was a kind generous man whose combination of wit and sarcasm made him a unique and special person to all who were privledged to know him. He was an amazing father who loved hunting, fishing, boating, the Packers and spending time with his family. He was especially proud of becoming a grandfather for the first time.
The family would like to thank the UW Hospital staff for their tireless efforts to save Jeff's life and for their kind treatment to them. They made his passing peaceful and comfortable for all of us.
He was preceded in death by his father Thomas and his grandparents. He is survived by his mother Mary (Fisher) Stanton, his daughter Chelsea, son Jeffrey (Adrienne), grandson Hunter, three brothers, Thomas (Sandra), Michael (Tammy) Edward (Cheri) Miklas, three sisters, Kelly Wisch, Nancy Stanton, and Elizabeth (Gary) Kvasnica, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 6021 University Avenue, Madison, on Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at 6:00 p.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Gone too soon but his memory will never fade, The pain will fade in time but there will always be a big hole in our hearts and our lives. We will miss him
