Jenna A. Brandt

We are heartbroken to share that Jenna Anne Kirkvold-Brandt passed away on Oct. 15, 2023. She was 41 years old. Jenna was born on Feb. 9, 1982, in Milwaukee to Mike Kirkvold and Rondee Reed. Jenna obtained a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from UW-Whitewater and she could work in all artistic mediums. Jenna met the love of her life and best friend, Tom Brandt, in college, and they were wed on July 22, 2006.

Jenna found her passion working with elders in multiple senior centers. She brought so much joy and happiness to all the residents. Jenna was thoughtful, generous, hard working, creative, kind and she had a great sense of humor and the best laugh. Jenna made everyone and every occasion feel special. Her thoughtful gifts and gift wrapping skills were legendary. Jenna enjoyed being outside working on the flower and vegetable gardens, curling up with many books, cuddling with her dogs, and always finding time to take a well deserved nap. Halloween was her all time favorite holiday. She had amazing costumes, decorations all over the house and always enough candy for three times the entire subdivision.

Memorials may be made in Jenna’s name to the Dane County Humane Society (www.giveshelter.org) or to your preferred animal rescue.

A celebration of life gathering will be held for her immediate family.
