Stoughton - Jeremy Scott Wilson, age 34 of Pleasant Springs Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on December 22, 2015. He was born on August 1, 1981 in Freeport, Illinois, the son of Mark A. and Cynthia S. (McNutt) Wilson. He married Andrea Rasmussen on August 13, 2008 in Arlington Wisconsin.
Jeremy graduated from Stoughton High School in Stoughton Wisconsin in 1999. Jeremy loved to golf when he could and grew up across from the Stoughton Country Club where he performed a wide variety of jobs. He always loved to sing anywhere and everywhere. Growing up by Lake Kegonsa Jeremy loved to be by the water, he would swim and fish in the lake almost daily. Jeremy also learned to water ski and Jet Ski. The family frequently took weekend rides with his family and love to take his children to see and learn from new adventures. He took great pride in everything his children did and loved to share stories of their trips and locations they saw. Jeremy lived most of his life in the Stoughton area. He was a diehard Green Bay Packer fan. He enjoyed going fishing with his brothers and stepson, and working on cars with his dad.
Jeremy leaves behind a wife, Andrea (Rasmussen) Wilson; a son, Connor Wilson; stepson, Kyle Nesbit. His mother and father, Mark A. and Cynthia S. (McNutt) Wilson; Brothers, Jason A. Wilson and Johnathon L. Wilson. Grandmother Barbara Wilson; mother and father in-law, Brenda and James Rasmussen; nieces, Alice and Emma; brother in-law, Travis (Jennifer) Rasmussen; sister in-law ,Tanya (Jeremy) Zisky, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends
He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Alvin L. Wilson Jr. and his grandparents Donald and Genevieve (Shay) McNutt.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Good Shepherd By The Lake, 1860 US Hwy 51, Stoughton. Located just outside of Stoughton. Visitation will be held on Sunday December 27, 2015 from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. at Cress Funeral Home, 206 W. Prospect St., Stoughton. There will also be visitation at the church from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Jeremy will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Stoughton. Family and friends are invited to a meal following the services.
