Jerry Rowe

March 9, 1929 — July 6, 2012

Rowe, Gerald (Jerry) Frank
Stoughton-Jerry Rowe age 83 passed away on Friday, July 6, 2012, at home. He was born March 9, 1929, in Oregon the son of Edward & Emily (Chark) Rowe.
Jerry grew up on a farm outside of Oregon and was closely connected to area farm families by his work as a mechanic and salesman for John Deere dealerships. To Jerry they weren't just customers; they were his friends and extended family. He was a hard worker and very proud to help build their church and the Stoughton Mandt Center. Working in his apple orchard was his favorite hobby, planting, spraying, harvesting and selling at the Farmers Market. Apple harvest was a family tradition enjoyed by all. Jerry enjoyed a drive in the country reminiscing about the farms he visited and the farm families he knew and helped over the years.
Of all his accomplishments, he valued spending time with family the most. Family gatherings making memories for grandchildren, birthdays, anniversaries were all occasions of great joy for him. In retirement, spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren teaching them and listening to them was very important to him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Arlene; their children Ed (Pam Lindsay) Rowe of DeForest, Linda (Bill) Hasz and Sharie (Jerry) Buskager of Stoughton; grandchildren, Brad (Aimee) Rowe, Derrick (Kendra Smith) Rowe, Chelsey Toso, Nicole Hasz, Megan (Mike) Hays, Kari (Paul) Kojo and Abby Buskager; great grandchildren Greysen, John Wesley, Andrew, Kaydence, Jackson and one granddaughter soon to arrive.
He is further survived by siblings Don Rowe, Emily (Roger) Krueger, Betty Rowe, Anita Rowe and Doreen Barry, and many loved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; in laws Wesley & Nellie Haynes, siblings: Bill (Lena) Rowe, Eileen (Stan) Schneider, George Rowe, Waunetta (Arnie) Pollow and Art Rowe.
