Jerry R. Scott (Scotty), age 67, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 16, 2014. He was born in Madison on July 15, 1946 to Harold and Helen (Gottschall) Scott.

He was united in marriage to Bonnie (Jacobson) on June 21, 1969.
Jerry was employed for over 32 years with the Madison Water Utility. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt and fish and also enjoying his casino time. Jerry was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who's quirky and joking personality, will be truly missed.

Jerry is survived by his wife Bonnie Scott of 45 years of loving marriage; son Randy Scott; daughter Sheri ( Sean) Stumpf and grandchildren Jason Hoke, Kaylee and Jakob Stumpf.

A memorial gathering for Jerry will be held Monday, March 24, 2014 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Cress Funeral Home 3325 East Washington Avenue, Madison.

In lieu of flowers,memorial contributions can be made to the family.
