Jim Drengson

MADISON - James C. Drengson, age 62, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at his home in Madison. He was born on November 23, 1952 in Madison, the son of Thomas and Elaine (Beaugez) Drengson. Jim was united in marriage to Terri Killerlain on September 1, 1979 in Madison. He worked at Madison Metro for 40 years retiring in 2011. Jim enjoyed golfing, surfing, boating, traveling, reading, music and most of all spending time with his family and grandchildren. He loved sports including the Packers and Badgers. Jim was a member of St. Dennis Catholic Church and Door Creek Golf League.

He is survived by his wife, Terri Drengson; his daughter, Jill (Ben) Hahlen; grandchildren, Connor and Ashley Hahlen; brothers, Tom (Denise) Drengson and Rick (Sherry) Drengson; a sister, Linda Lenz; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Virginia Killerlain; brother-in-law, James Killerlain; sister-in-law, Lori Holum; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 413 Dempsey Road, Madison on Friday, October 16, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Randy Timmerman officiating. A visitation will be held at church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his family, in memory of Jim. These will then be donated to his favorite charities.
